Contributing to ICS
Charter schools are
special public schools. They are given much freedom to design and
implement programs that are creative, innovative and challenge the
boundaries of education. However, in exchange for this latitude,
charter schools are given less funding from the School Districts and
State than regular public schools. We are therefore charged with
raising support from outside organizations and individuals in order
to provide a truly outstanding program for our students. Please help
us to build our new community and meet our important mission by
donating equipment or services, funding for special programs, or
volunteering at our school. We are open to creative suggestions, so
